At 18, I booked a solo trip to Medellín, Colombia. I had no idea that one decision would completely change the way I saw the world.

From that moment on, I chased every opportunity to travel. Each new country became more than just another destination—it became a chance to meet people from different cultures, eat incredible food, embrace the unfamiliar, and discover parts of myself I never knew existed. Travel taught me that the greatest adventures often begin the moment you step outside your comfort zone.

Not every journey was easy. There were times I felt completely lost. But those moments made the highs unforgettable—the feeling of riding in the back of a pickup truck through the Nicaraguan jungle under a sky full of stars, watching a meteor shower from a rooftop in a quiet Moroccan surf town, or catching the first wave that reminded me what being truly present feels like.

Those moments shared one thing in common: for a brief instant, every worry, every expectation, and every ounce of stress disappeared. All that remained was a feeling I can only describe as euphoric freedom.
